Joy Connect partnered with the \u201cLove and Concord in Yip Mong Community Supporting Project\u201d from Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service, LC-HKS to host a Hand-Painted Tote Bag Workshop<\/strong> for residents of Yip Mong Estate, Tuen Mun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the course of two hours, participants fully immersed themselves in the creative process\u2014designing and painting their own unique tote bags. One participant shared: \u201cSince leaving school, I haven\u2019t had the chance to engage in artistic creation. It feels wonderful to rediscover that student mindset and freely express myself after decades.\u201d<\/em> \ud83c\udfa8\ud83d\udc5c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led by women instructors, the workshop not only introduced painting techniques but also fostered dialogue, laughter, and genuine community connection. Participants actively asked questions, exchanged ideas, and enjoyed the joy of learning together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We look forward to continuing to build bridges between creativity, community, and sustainable development in the year ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
